The average attendee will create almost one tonne of CO2 in transit. We'll offset all of it with Certified Carbon Offsets.

Please book in the Outdoor Economy Conference room block to ensure you get a room in the Cherokee Tower and avoid a $35 nightly resort fee. The newly renovated Cherokee Tower rooms are close to the event. If you book a room in another tower, you'll have a significant walk through the casino to reach the event.

Harrah's Cherokee Casino Resort is not located near an airport and does not offer airport shuttle service. When planning your own trip, here are the nearby airports to consider.
The closest airport to Cherokee is Asheville Regional Aiport (AVL). It takes approximately 1 1/2 hours to drive from the airport.

The Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) is approximately three hours south of Cherokee.

The McGhee Tyson Airport (TYS) in Knoxville, TN is about two hours west of Cherokee.
You can either drive along 441S through the Great Smokys or I-40 through Sam's Gap. Given the roads, this route is not recommended in the winter.
